Being half American I kinda feel like i need to at least have some sort of sporting apparel on at all times. New Era 59Fifty's are really the ultimate combo of ecstasy, they look fresh, you get rep and they stop those nasty rays all year round. So many options, so little time...get summm

TUNEY TUESDAYS
Just a couple of beats that are making themselves known on my itunes over the last week. Play them loud. Hope you enjoy.
Million Young- Hammock (Really Sick!!!!)
A SOCIAL NETWORK
The poster for the new facebook movie 'The social Network' has just been launched onto the interweb. The new Dave Fincher(The Game, Fight Club, Zodiac, Curious Case of Benjamin Button) movie is a story about the founder of facebook which has been adapted from his tell all book, The Accidental Billionaires: The founding of facebook, A tale of sex, Money, Genius and Betrayal. They depict the protagonist in the film as a sex driven maniac, but who knows if thats true seeing he is a Mega9 -nerd from harvard. But hey it would be nice to have 500 million at your disposal to control on facebook wouldnt it????

SCRAPERBIKES
Everyone has a bit of bike and a bit of Cali in them somewhere. Personally i think Fixies are dead, just mega scene/impractical bikes and plus i don't have the time or the money to keep my blonde fringe tidy. HOWEVER, Scraperbikes is a different story, these bad boys are where its at. This guy has the right idea (On crack or not) cause he's making a difference. This is such a cool little clip, i think a North Shore Scraperbikes clan needs to reunite.

SUGARMILL
Had a look in the new Surf store 'Sugarmill' down at Narrabeen the other week. Sugarmill was opened a few months ago and is owned by Kye Fitzgerald and Justin Leef who both hail from the northern beaches. This cool new shop has some dope affordable threads along with an appreciation for retro boards and gear. They also rock some cool surfboard meets every few months which look pretty dope from the photos on their website. Definitely worth a look if your in the area. Check their website here.

TOO GOOD KOBE
After a roller-coaster ride into game 7, I was certain the Celtics were gonna take the NBA title. After a convincing lead up until the 4th quarter i thought it was imminent Rondo and the lads would be holding up the cup at the Staples Center. But as fate has it the Lakers powered through to clinch victory mainly due to the Lakers insane defense. Kobe had over 15 rebounds but was shooting only 30%, he is still just too good, MVP or not he is a machine.
Ohh well there's always next year, Denver Thuggets for Title..

INNERSPEAKER
Really frothing on Tame Impala's new 12 track CD Innerspeaker that was released the other week. A really cool Post-Fordism psychedelic 70's synth rock sound. Produced and written by the bands Kevin Parker and mixed by David Fridman who has worked with the likes of MGMT(Dead) and Flaming Lips. Perfect for cruising on the highway at 100 with the cold winter air on your face...

TIMELESS
Surf crowds these days are ridiculous, no longer are the days when you can surf with a few mates for hours at a time getting pumping waves. However it wasn't always like that, if we can get ahold of the Doc, take his Delorean and head back to 1975 then this problem could be easily eradicated. I guess we don't know how good it is until its all gone. A few shots from da dreatimeeeee.

God Went Surfing With The Devil
When I hear Gaza Strip I immediately think of one of the worst places in the world. Suicide bombings, thousands of killings, heavy army control and an endless hatred due to hundreds of years of bloodshed between the Israelites and the palestinians. The last thing i would consider is waves, maybe the next surf trip rather than Bali???

IN NEW YORK
Jay Z, the Frank Sinatra of our generation.??
1. He gets to pump Beyonce
2.He has an estimated net worth of $400 million
3. He has one of the best hip hop albums of all time (Blueprint 3)
4. Owns part of the New Jersey Nets
Its pretty safe to say he is doing something right. I guess it shows big dreams can come true, i wonder if i can still play for Manchester United then??I found this cool little clip the other day. Livin the dream.
LES GROSSMAN
If you have seen 'Tropic Thunder' then you would be familiar with the character Les Grossman played by Tom Cruise. Now we all know how much of a douche Tom Cruise is but i think this news could reinvent the scientology siko. It has been announced that a Les Grossman movie is in the pipeline produced by Ben Stiller. Going to be all time if this scene is anything to go by.
ITS A LITTLE COLD
Taylor Steel's new movie 'Castles in the Sky' looks amazing. It's hard to make a true surf exploration movie these days, however this looks like some fresh material. One trip in particular to Iceland with Dan Malloy and Dayne Reynolds looks crazy. This little clip is a behind the scenes look at their journey into what looks to be the coldest water imaginable. The movie is set for release in a few weeks time, i know ill be making a purchase.

DION AGIUS
Dion Agius is hands down my favourite surfer at the moment, so steezy in and out of the water. The C**t lives the dream traveling the world getting bullshit ramps while pumping 10/10's at every stop. This clip is a teaser for Globe's new surf movie, seems like everything arty in surfing is going to 100 frames per second, but this is taking it to the next step at 600FPS and looks pretty sick. Check out Dion's Blog that contains all types of goodies. www.globe.tv/dion
Cumming Day N Nite
Arnold really loves pumping iron, easily the best bodybuilder of all time. By the looks of this extract from the Documentary 'Pumping Iron' starring Arny and Lou Ferrigno he always loves cumming. Amazing to think he is the Governor of California, only in America.

Its Always Sunny
I got introduced to this show from a few American mots (Sammy Martin, terrorize him on facebook) on my last visit to the land of the FREE/home of the brave. Its Always Sunny In Philadelphia is one of the funniest shows out there and for some reason hasn't had a big impact in Australia. This is probably one of the best episodes of the series, Danny Davito is frigin next level in this eppy, and with lines like "You gotta pay the troll toll if you wanna get into that boys hole" you know your in for a treat. Enjoy

MA 9MM GO BANG
VBS.TV has some of the coolest shit on the web hands down. From Columbian Donkey Sex to the Gun Markets Of Pakistan, there's something for everybody. This 55 minute clip is some of the gnarliest shit i have ever seen. Vice travels to Liberia to showcase a nation plagued by 14 years of civil war and highlight some of the unthinkable atrocities that have occurred there. Poicee

NEW TUNES
DAT N***A CRAZY
Face Tattoos are pretty next level, the chances of pro skater Antwuan Dixon getting a 9-5 job in Finance talking derivatives with clients is pretty unlikely, however lucky for him he isn't destined for the crips or the bloods as the guy has some pretty ballin skate skills. Antwuan is definitely a marketers dream for young frothing kids in the skate scene, his unique skating style and his fuck the police attitude( Literally, he has beaten up 3 cops) makes him stand out above the crowd. Found this cool little interview the other week trawling the www, by the looks of it the guy can smoke a blunt thats for sure.
Pleasure Hole
Nothing like Winter kicking into gear with endless swells on the horizon. Dust off the cobwebs on the smelly 3/2 ZION wetsuit for some uncrowded caves. The Next week looks pumping and I am hoping for a few of these pits along the way. Mitch Tomkins getting the job done down the coast.

I Love The Smell Of Napalm In The Morning
After watching this clip a few times its certain you don't have to like skateboarding to appreciate this video. Directed by Spike Jonze (Director of Where the Wild Things Are for all those rock dwellers) and tunes by M83 this is a true cinematic masterpiece for everyone to enjoy. The explosions are real and they used Napalm. Ahhhhh might go buy a skateboard???

UP THERE
I came across this the other week on my usual web trawling on Vimeo. I think its amazing how these guys can do this so meticulously on such a large scale combined with all the elements they have to deal with. Definitely worth a look if you have a spare 10 minutes on the shitter. Tunes by The Album Leaf

???Is Bodyboarding Dead?????
So you might not like to tell your brand new blonde haired Rigged girlfriend you bodyboard due to the negative connotations that surround the sport, but when your throwing yourself into Mega9 bowls like this on a stormy day down the coast with no one out who really cares????

8:30 REZ AT DORSIA
"My name is Patrick Bateman. I am twenty-six years old. I live in the American Garden Buildings on West Eighty-First Street, on the eleventh floor. Tom Cruise lives in the penthouse.
I believe in taking care of myself, in a balanced diet, in a rigorous exercise routine. In the morning, if my face is a little puffy, I'll put on an ice pack while doing my stomach crunches. I can do a thousand now.
After I remove the icepack, I use a deep pore-cleanser lotion. In the shower, I use a water-activated gel cleanser, then a honey-almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb mint facial masque which I leave on for ten minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine.
I always use an after-shave lotion with little or no alcohol because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm, followed by a final moisturizing "protective" lotion...
There is an idea of a Patrick Bateman, some kind of abstraction, but there is no real me, only an entity, something illusory, and though I can hide my cold gaze and you can shake my hand and feel flesh gripping you and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable: I simply am not there."

For those of you not familiar with the Sadistic Literary mind of Bret Easton Ellis, then you would definitely be familiar with Christian Bale's performance in American Psycho. Ellis is the mastermind behind novels such as Less than Zero, Rules of Attraction, The Informers and American Psycho which have all been made in hollywood films.
Easton has announced his 7th book titled 'Imperial Bedrooms' which is the sequel to Less Than Zero. Imperial Bedrooms revisits Less than zero's self-destructive and disillusioned youths as they approach middle-age in the present day. The book will be avaliabe on June 15th in Australia from all good book stores. For all the mega book worms out there, Esquire magazine has published an expert from the book. Check it out here.
NBA FINAL
Its that time of year again for the NBA final, this year its LAKERS VS CELTICS and i think its going to be an epic series.Celtics are going to get the job done this year. With Paul Pierce's constant money jumpers and Rajon Rondo's all time form its a sure thing to take down Kobe's LA Lakers. Game 1 is on friday at 11am sydney time on ESPN. Im putting down a skungie on celtics for sure, with Boston paying $2.85 for game 1 win, I'll hopefully bring in some easy benjamins.
IAMNONE
For years booga clothing brands were flooded with baggy tee's and outdated cringe cloth. For the last few years a new company has revolutionized the industry by providing a fashion platform for the bodyboard community of long blonde fringes and tight Ksubi jeans to strive for. The new Winter 2010 range has just dropped and looks pretty dope. Available online or at any good surf shop. Check the whole range out here.
IAMNONE have also just produced their new team based film, THRASH'D produced by Todd Barnes. Following the theme of their previous film THRASH, this movie has a great artistic touch combined with smooth tech riding at locations including Samoa, Bali, SA, VIC and South Coast.

Starring Josh Kerr, Jay Davies, Clay Marzo, Mitch Coleburn & Chippa Wilson. I Love College
If you have ever experienced the US college lifestyle then you would of definitely heard Asher Roth's 'I love College' being cranked around any beer pong table. The stereotypical nature of the lyrics seem to sum up College livin to a tee. This time he's back with a new single 'Muddy Swim Trunks', his quasi lyrics with a really clutch film clip gets the full thumbs up. Check it here.
